The 2CV Méhari Club Cassis has taken on board the contemporary challenges of sustainable mobility with the design of the 100% electric EDEN Méhari in 2016, making it a point of honour to collaborate with players who advocate and share its values. That’s why the company has joined forces with Mib Yacht Services and Millikan Boats to launch the M9, a 100% French catamaran that runs on solar energy. Side by side in the port of Hyères, an EDEN and this cutting-edge electro-solar boat will be presented to the general public on 28 and 29 June.
The M9 and Eden: a new sailing experience
Millikan Boats, a French company founded in 2022 by Philippe Raynaud, is a major player in the design of self-sufficient electric boats powered by solar panels. With this catamaran with unlimited autonomy, the aim is to offer the market a new way of imagining maritime navigation. The M9 catamaran and the EDEN form a couple at the cutting edge of modernity, offering a new electrified way of life while respecting tradition, comfort and elegance. Closely linked in terms of the environment and unique driving pleasure, whether sailing or driving, the 100% electric experience allows you to explore new horizons in complete freedom.
To coincide with the presentation of the M9 in Hyères, an EDEN will also be on display in the harbour. Available for test drives, enthusiasts of vintage vehicles will be able to enjoy the driving pleasure offered by the electric version of the Mehari of yesteryear.
