Tailor-made and bold. These are the key words that characterise the design of this magnificent 100% electric Mehari, Eden “Sorbet”. The fruit of a unique encounter between the 2CV Méhari Club Cassis and the very talented Tristan Auer, this Eden is as delicious to the eye as an ice cream to the taste buds. The perfect blend of authenticity, creativity and elegance, it’s a breath of fresh air.
EDEN “Sorbet”, a Made in France collaboration
While retaining its timeless design, this Mehari has been equipped with an electric engine to take on board the contemporary challenges of sustainable mobility. Celebrating the spirit of the original Mehari and its unique driving pleasure, this 100% customisable vehicle is available in hundreds of combinations of colours and materials.
Commissioned by the famous Hôtel Martinez in Cannes to transport its guests, it was designed and built in collaboration with Tristan Auer, an interior designer who embodies French luxury and elegance the world over.
With his many projects and designs, this vintage car enthusiast plays on emotions and sensations, particularly with his ‘Car Tailoring’ project. Viewing the car as a unique space, he imagines a narrative and a style for each interior that perfectly matches the owner’s personality.
With their shared passion for Citroën and their love of French know-how, it was only natural that the 2CV Méhari Club Cassis and Tristan Auer should join forces to create an Eden with a contemporary, refined and refreshing design that celebrates the French Riviera spirit.
EDEN “Sorbet”, a unique, made-to-measure world
To make this EDEN “Sorbet” a true experience, each element and accessory has been tailor-made to create a unique multi-sensory universe. With this in mind, each of the limited editions that will be produced will be given an olfactory signature representing the aesthetics of the vehicle.
This strawberry-scented luxury cabin is adorned with a satin pink underbody and an eye-catching glossy white body. This attention to detail is echoed in the cork floor mats and a floral tapestry on the dashboard and inside the doors, adding further cachet to the overall look. A cork cool box and lifebuoy add the finishing touches.
The icing on the cake is an ice-cream cone holder on the dashboard, a reference to its name: Eden Sorbet.
